Start date for £150m Hammersmith regeneration scheme
The £150m regeneration of West London’s King Street area has been confirmed by Helical Bar with work commencing on site in the later end of 2015 and is due to complete by the end of 2019.
The King Street redevelopment is a joint development with Grainger and will see the regeneration of buildings including the Hammersmith Town Hall, which will have the 1970’s extension demolished and redeveloped.
In addition, 196 new homes will be built in several buildings as well as a new supermarket, additional shops, replacement offices for the local council and a new cinema to be operated by Curzon.
