OBAS CEO to lead Lancashire business community's tribute to fallen heros
As well as running a busy builders merchants in Lancashire, OBAS CEO Norman Tenray is also the President of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce (NWLCC). In this capacity, Norman will lead a delegation of business leaders from around Lancashire at the National Memorial Arboretum to pay tribute to those servicemen and women who have lost their lives fighting for their country.
Norman will lay a wreath at the Arboretum in Staffordshire following attendance at a church service and the observation of a two-minute's silence.
The wreath will be laid on behalf of businesses from across Lancashire of which Norman said: “I am proud to be able to lay this wreath on behalf of all our member businesses in Lancashire.
“It is vital that we remember those men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in countless wars throughout the years, often fighting to preserve our way of life.
“We are businesspeople, but without the bravery of our Armed Forces personnel we would not enjoy the freedoms to do our business in the way that we do today.”
