Willmott Dixon has been selected to deliver the new North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) £25m Community Healthcare Hub facilities.

The first project in the development schedule will be completed by the middle of 2017 and will be the construction of the £12m Waltham Forest Central Hub, which is a new facility for recovery teams and community clinics which will cover respiratory, diabetes and podiatry services.

In addition there will be two other projects which will include a new Children’s Hub built at Rebridge and a new Service Hub at Thurrock which will provide offices for GPs, practice nurses, community health clinics as well as a base for the community health and social care teams.

According to P21+ framework manager for Willmott Dixon, Anastasia Crysafi, the company has won this deal off the back of their existing relationship with NHS Trusts, which has seen the trusts better use their estates and where it will help NELFT better provide their range of services which include integrated community and mental health services for people living in the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest and community health services in south west Essex across Brentwood, Basildon and Thurrock.
