Work has yet to start of the restaurant, reception and staircases however it’s understood that everything will be completed in around nine months before a December opening.
The venue will have a capacity of 620, with Khan stating he wanted to build a venue that would offer a wedding facility for large families such as his own.
Khan is reported as saying: "The demand has been crazy. I keep getting phone calls from people every week wanting to book the venue.
"This venue will give at least 100 jobs to the Bolton community. We want to give opportunities to people in Bolton and I think with the venue we will definitely do that.”
Bolton firm, Ash & Sons, from Chorley Old Road, are currently building the venue, employing between 20 and 25 workers on site and it’s believed that when the venue is fully up and running it will employ around 75 and 125 workers in the town.
